Pipavav Defence

The shares of the company rose after the media reports that the Russian government has chosen Pipavav Shipyard for a 'Make in India' military service warship.

The stock ended the day at Rs 62.20, higher by 3.49per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 64.95 during the trade.

Tata Steel

Shares of Tata Steel jumped over 2 per cent today following resolution of a major labour dispute at the UK arm of the company.

The stock ended the day at Rs 281, higher by 0.29 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 286 during the trade.

Biocon

Syngene International, research arm of Biocon Ltd, On Thursday received approval from Sebi to launch an initial public offer (IPO).

Syngene IPO price band at Rs. 240-250/share; Syngene IPO to be open from July 27 to July 29.

The stock ended the day at Rs 483, marginally lower by 0.72 per cent on BSE.

Axis bank, Yes Bank

Shares of both the banks surged on Thursday after the Cabinet approved a composite cap for foreign portfolio investment (FPI) and foreign direct investment (FDI).

The stock Axis Bank ended the day at Rs 608, higher by 4.14 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 613 during the trade.

The stock Yes Bank ended the day at Rs 829, higher by 3.11 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 835 during the trade.

South India Bank

Shares of the Axis bank slipped after the bank reported poor q1 numbers. The banks first quarter profit slipped 48.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 65.29 crore.

The stock of South Indian Bank ended the day at Rs 24.05, lower by 5.50 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 23.60 during the trade.

Adani Ports

Shares of the Adani Ports surged after the company received "Letter of Award" for development of the Vizhinjam International Deepwater Seaport Project from Government of Kerala (GoK).

The shares of the company ended the day at Rs 326, higher by 2.30 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 828 during the trade.
