SUN TV Shares Gain After HC Permits Co To Participate in Mock E Auction
Shares in SUN TV gained almost 2 per cent after the Kalanidhi controlled channel was allowed by the Delhi High Court to participate in the FM E-auction.
The stock jumped nearly 2 per cent and was trading at Rs 263 on the National Stock Exchange. It maybe noted that the government earlier had not allowed Sun TV to participate in the auction as the company had not received clearance from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
The company's license renewal for 33 TV channels have also been stuck as the MHA due to economic offenses by the owners of the channel.
