Tata Communications Surges On Plans To Sell Data Centra Business

Shares in Tata Communications surged on reports that the company was planning to sell its data centre business. The stock was last trading at Rs 414, up 3 per cent on the National Stock Exchange.

The Economic Times reports that Google and Amazon are among the bidders in talks with Tata Group to buy Tata Communications' data centre business.
Meanwhile, the Sensex was trading sharply lower by nearly 2 per cent in trade as worries over growth rates in China affected sentiments.
