The National Stock Exchange (NSE) and The Bombay Stock Exchange(BSE) will conduct a special session for 'Muhurat Trading' on account of Diwali on Wednesday, November 11.

Muhurat trading is the auspicious stock market trading for an hour on Diwali. This is a very old ritual conduct trading community.

Muhurat trading is conducted as it is believed that muhurat trading on this day brings n wealth and prosperity throughout the year.

Trading members are hereby informed that timings of the Muhurat Trading Session for the Equity Derivatives segment on account of Diwali Laxmi Pujan on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, the BSE said in the press release.

Trading would be conducted between 1745 hours and 1845 hours on the day, NSE said in a circular.
