Wipro Sets Up UK Center For Digital Transformation Services
Wipro Digital, the digital business unit of Wipro Limited on Wednesday announced the opening of its new London pod.
Also said that it is furthering its commitment to offer enhanced digital transformation services at close proximity to its UK and European customers.
Wipro Digital also intends to continue its hiring in the UK to support business growth and expand its range of offerings. Over the past 12 months, Wipro Ltd has hired over 600 employees and today employs over 4,000 people in the United Kingdom, the company said in the press release.
The new pod is purpose-built for Wipro Digital's strategy, design and engineering teams to work in a collaborative and adaptive workspace side-by-side with clients, added further.
Rajan Kohli, Senior Vice President and Global Head, Wipro Digital, said "London's reputation for creativity and the confluence of cultures provide a springboard for ideas, making it an ideal hub to meet the digital needs of our customers.
Shares of the Wipro were seen trading at Rs 568, higher by 0.51 per cent on BSE at 11.30 am IST. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 569 during the trade.
