Stocks That Gained 10-20 Per cent In Trade

Markets saw a great deal of volatility in trade today, jumping from gains to losses and finally ending the day with losses. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 25230.36 , lower by 71.54 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 7731.05, down by 18.65 points.

European markets were trading higher, while most of Asia ended mixed. Here are a list of stocks that gained between 10-20 percent in trade today.

Ujaas

Shares in Ujaas jumped 14 per cent, after the company's profits saw a 5-fold increase for the quarter ending March 31, 2016. The stock ended the day at Rs 24.60. The shares have a face value of Re 1.

Harita Seating Systems

Harita Seating Systems was another stock that rallied, following a positive outcome of board meeting and results.
The stock rose along with heavy volumes in the counter and closed at Rs 600.55. Harita Seating System manufactures driver seats and bus passenger seats.

R S Software

R S Software jumped after the company saw losses reducing dramatically for the quarter ending March 31, 2016. The stock closed the day at Rs 97.30, up 10.95 %.

Somany Ceramics

Somany ceramics saw net profits doubling to Rs 26 crores from Rs 13.86 crores in the preceding quarter, which led to a sharp jump of 11 per cent in the stock.
The shares of Somany ended trade at Rs 472.

Manappuram

Shares in Manapuram rallied 11 per cent and closed trade at Rs 52.90 . It was difficult to ascertain the reasons for the sharp spike in the stock.
