Maruti Shares Rally As July Sales Jump
Shares in Maruti gained ground by 2 per cent, after the company's saw its sales for the month of July seeing good growth.
India's largest passenger car maker by volumes sold 1.37 lakh vehicles in July, higher by 12.7 percent compared with 1.21 lakh vehicles sold in year-ago period.
The shares in Maruti were last trading at Rs 4,859, up 2 per cent over Friday's closing. Most analyst had expected flat growth in volumes at the company.
