Tata Motors shares ended the day at Rs 500.30, higher by 4.41 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 501 and low of Rs 488 during trade.

Shares of Punj Lloyd rose after its subsidiary company sold entire stake in Simon Carves Engineering.

Dr Reddy's on Thursday said that it has successfully completed the acquisition of eight Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) in the US from Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries and an affiliate of Allergan Plc.
