Indian Markets Closed For Festival; Asian Markets Fall
Indian markets were closed for local holidays, even on Wednesday, following a close on Tuesday as well.
Asian markets were trading lower, following a weak closing by the US markets. Markets in Korea were under pressure, after shares in Samsung fell after the company said that it was halting production of Galaxy Note.
Other markets across Asia, like Japan too dropped, following weak cues. Indian markets are now expected to remain open on Thursday, following 2-days of holidays on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Markets may open slightly weakish following the global trend. In other asset classes gold was trading slightly weak at $1256 an ounce on fears that the US Fed would raise interest rates later in Decemeber.
