Key domestic benchmark indices ended lower on Tuesday. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade lower by 87.66 points to end at 28,091.42; Nifty ends at 8691.30 down by 17.65 points.

Shares of the HDFC Bank slipped on Monday after the company reported second quarter results with net profit up 20 per cent while NPA on rise.

HDFC Bank shares ended trade at Rs 1,248, lower by 1.23 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high Rs 1,265 and low of Rs 1,244 during trade.

Shares of Balaji Amines plunged on poor quarterly numbers declared by the company for the quarter ended September 2016.

Balaji Amines shares ended trade at Rs 333, lower by 9.62 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 311 during trade.

Tata Group

Shares in Tata Group companies declined, after a decision to replace Cyrus Mistry, as the Chairman of Tata Sons. Tata Steel dropped 2 per cent and Tata Power lost almost 1 per cent.

Tata Steel shares ended trade at Rs 415, lower by 2.63 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 409 during trade.

Shares of Sasken Communication rose to hit a 52-week high on Tuesday after the board said that it will consider a share buy back.

Sasken Communication shares ended trade at Rs 430, higher by 6.39 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high and 52week high of Rs 440 during trade.

Shares of Adani Enterprises dropped after the company reported consolidated net profit down 78.9 per cent at Rs 63.1 crore against Rs 298.7 crore year on year basis

Adani Enterprises shares ended trade at Rs 67.85, lower by 4.91 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 66.80 during trade.
