Key domestic benchmark indices ended higher on Friday. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade higher by 61 points to end at 27,941.51; Nifty ends at 8638.00 up by 22.75 points.

Shares of JSW Steel rose after the company reported net profit at Rs 726.46 crore for the quarter ended on September 30, 2016.

JSW Steel shares ended trade at Rs 1,556, higher by 1.23 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 1,682 during trade.

Shares of NMDC climbed after the company said that it has signed a tripartite pact with Government of Madhya Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh State Mining Corporation.

NMDC shares ended trade at Rs 131.15, higher by 6.37 per cent on the BSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high of Rs 133.40 during trade.

Shares in Tech Mahindra rallied almost 6 per cent, following its quarterly numbers for the period ending Sept 30, 2016.

Tech Mahindra shares ended trade at Rs 434, higher by 4.75 per cent on the BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 443 during trade.

Shares of VRL Logistics dropped on Friday after the company reported net profit down 53.7 per cent at Rs 13.9 crore against Rs 30 crore year on year.

VRL Logistics shares ended trade at Rs 290.35, lower by 15.96 per cent on the BSE. It touched an intraday low of Rs 268 during trade.

Shares of Bajaj Finserv rose more than 3% after the company reported second quarter consolidated net profit up by 30.5 per cent at Rs 575.8 crore against Rs 441.1 crore year on year.

Bajaj Finserv shares ended trade at Rs 3,390, higher by 3.75 per cent on the BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 3,408 during trade.
