Key domestic benchmark indices ended higher on Friday tracking. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade higher by 456.17 points to end at 26316.34; Nifty ends at 8114.30 up by 148.80 points.

Shares of Talwalkars Better Value Fitness surged after the company said that its board has approved the demerger of gym business into separate company Talwalkars Lifestyles Limited (TLL).

Talwalkars shares ended trade at Rs 238, higher by 4.82 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 239 during trade.

Shares RS Software surged more than 8 percent after a media report indicated that the company has cancelled a restrictive deal with its key client Visa Inc.

RS Software shares ended trade at Rs 82.70, higher by 29.10 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 84.45 during trade.

Shares of Jagran Prakashan surged intra-day after the company's subsidiary approved proposal to launch IPO.

Jagran Prakashan shares ended trade at Rs 169, marginally higher by 0.24 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 180 during trade.

Shares of Bata rose after touching 52-week low after the company reported Q2 EBITDA margin at 9.2% against 8.4% year on year.

Bata India shares ended trade at Rs 413, higher by 2.45 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 218 and low of Rs 400 during trade.

The board of the company has approved buyback proposal for up to Rs 720 crore. Shares ended trade at Rs 1,088, higher by 1.77 per cent on BSE. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,097 during trade.
