After low-cost air carrier, Indigo's Monday announcement of low airfares across select routes, SpiceJet follows with similar rates. For some of the select domestic routes, SpiceJet has come up with discounted rates as low as Rs. 849. For a flight in July between Jammu enrooted to Srinagar, flyer would need to pay an all-inclusive fare of Rs. 849 for a one-way flight.
With new flights for select routes coming July, including Kolkata to Surat in addition to new direct flights between Jammu and Chandigarh and Jammu and Dehradun, the company has further lowered its rates from its erstwhile rival, Indigo, under the scheme. For its Chandigarh -Japiur and Chandigarh-Jammu flights, Rs. 1998 on an all-inclusive basis is charged.
Indigo came with Summer Sale offer on Monday with fares as low as Rs.899. SpiceJet offer is valid for travel between June and August and bookings made between 8 May and 10 May. Further to qualify for the offer, travel date should fall after 20 days of booking made.
