Airtel Introduces Cheap Data and Voice Plans of Rs. 5 and Rs. 8 Respectively
The telecom airtel is introducing competent voice and data plans to retain customer base.
To counter the disruption caused by Jio tariff plans and later on after the introduction of Jio feature phone, telecom players are struggling hard to retain their customer base. Airtel, a leading telecom player with respect to customer base, on fears of losing its market share to Jio is time and again introducing cheaper voice and data plans.
In its latest offering, the telecom major has introduced a Rs. 5 and Rs. 8 plan.

1. For Rs. 5, a prepaid user with 4G SIM will get 4GB 3G or 4G data with a validity of 7 days.
2. Users who do not have 4G SIM connection can avail the offer after upgrading to the 4G SIM.
3. It is a one-time recharge offer
4. The plan might not be available to all prepaid users of Airtel.
Airtel's Rs. 8 plan is exclusively for voice calling and allows users to make local and STD calls at 30 paise per minute. The validity of the plan is 54 days. Further for this year, there are no additional conditions.
