HDFC Bank Pips TCS To Become Second Valuable Company
HDFC Bank in today's trade has piped TCS to become the second most valuable company in respect of market capitalization or m-cap when in afternoon trading session it reached Rs4,73,530.72 crore higher by Rs797.4 crore in comparsion to TCS m-cap of Rs 4,72,733.32 crore.
In trade today, HDFC Bank gained by 0.93% to record 52-week high levels of Rs. 1,840 while registering gains of as much as 53% this year. TCS on the contrary witnessed a surge of just 5% this year.
On market cap front, the parameter that decides valuation of the firm, Reliance Industries tops the list with a market cap of Rs5,33,818.72 crore that is followed by HDFC Bank, TCS, ITC (Rs3,35,993.75 crore) and HDFC Ltd (Rs2,84,580.02 crore) in top five list.
