Capacit'e Infraprojects' made a strong debut on the bourses, but fell thereafter. The stock opened at a solid 60 per cent over the issue price at Rs 399, but, investors dumped the stock as market sentiments were very weak. The stock was last up at Rs 363, against its listing price of Rs 399.

Capacit'e Infraprojects' Rs 400 crore initial public offer (IPO) was issued to gather funds to finance working capital requirements, purchase capital assets and general corporate purposes. Axis Capital, IIFL Holdings, and Vivro Financial Services were the book running lead managers to the issue.

The construction company's IPO got an oversubscription to the tunes of 186 times. The subscription by institutional and non-institutional investors was a whopping 131 and 638 times. The stock exchange data further shows that retail investor's subscription was 17.57 times.
