Exide Industries Ltd launched a new range of battery known as the 'Epiq' reported PTI. The new range comes with a six-year warranty, the highest in the Indian market.

The new batteries will be manufactured at Exide's factories across India and sold through its 1,500 premium Exide Care outlets.
Although the price was not revealed, the company said 'Epiq' will be positioned and targeted at the highest end of the automotive battery aftermarket and will its most premium vehicular battery.
Exide said that it has sourced the best technology to make a battery that would last for a long time in the Indian market. 'Eqip' has the next generation technology and will be the flagship sub-brand of Exide.
