Forex Reserves Reach New Highs of $413.825 Billion

After touching the peak of USD 400 billion, the forex reserves since the month of September are fluctuating. The change is due to the fluctuation in other currency vis a vis dollar currency.

As per a PTI report in the week to January 12, the forex reserves of India touched another new high of USD 2.7 billion on the back of increase in foreign assets portfolio of the central bank as per the RBI statement bank.

On the sidelines, gold remained constant at USD 20.421 billion as per the RBI.
