Bharat Forge reported earnings growth for the end of third quarter 2018. The growth was driven by an increase in exports and increase in sales from commercial vehicles business.

The company reported a consolidated growth in profit of 77.4 percent at Rs 228 crore, year-on-year basis. Revenue from operations was reported at Rs 1,391 crore, up by 47.4 percent from previously reported Rs 944 crore during the third quarter of 2017.

EBITDA reported growth of 59.8 percent, year-on-year basis at Rs 416.3 crore. Better product mix and improved productivity achieved the operational growth.

The growth in profitability has increased to Rs 115.1 crore from Rs 60.5 crore, year-on-year basis.
