Debt and currency market in India are closed today for a public holiday. While the stock markets taking cue from the global markets are expected to start on a positive note which after declining 286 points closed at 34,010 on Friday.

Meanwhile, markets in the US are closed for the President's day while Chinese and Hong Kong markets are closed for the Lunar New Year eve.
The rupee on Friday closed at 64.22 against the dollar, a rate higher against the earlier close of 63.91 per dollar.
This week the Indian stock markets will take cues from the Fed minutes due to be released on Wednesday.
