In a statement today National Stock Exchange (NSE) said that it will include Bajaj Finserv Ltd., Grasim Industries Ltd., and Titan Company Ltd in its benchmark index Nifty 50.

Ambuja Cements Ltd., Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., and Bosch Ltd will be excluded from the list. These changes will be applicable from April 2, 2018.

With the addition of Bajaj Finserv, there will now be 11 financial services companies in Nifty 50 and Aurobindo Pharma's exclusion will bring down the pharma companies listings to four.

India Index Services and Products (a subsidiary of NSE) also announced changes to Nifty Next 50, Nifty 100, Nifty Midcap 150, Nifty 500 and Nifty Smallcap 250 indices as part of its periodic review.
