Merck Limited Announces Strong Q4 And FY 2017 Results, Recommends Dividend

Merck Limited announced positive results for the fourth quarter of 2017 (Q4 2017) and fiscal 2017 (FY 2017).

The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 304.130 crores for the fourth quarter of 2017 as against Rs 259.501 crores for the fourth quarter of 2016, up by 17.19 percent.

The Company reported a profit after tax of Rs 27.2697 crores for the fourth quarter of 2017 against Rs 19.4438 crores for the fourth quarter of 2016, up by 40.24 percent.
For fiscal 2017, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs 1119.45 crores against Rs 1029.77 crores for fiscal 2016, up by 8.70 percent and profit after tax of Rs 93.9094 crores for fiscal 2017 against Rs 79.1268 crores for fiscal 2016, up by 18.68 percent.

The Board has recommended payment of dividend at the rate of Rs.15 per equity share of Rs.10 each for the year ended December 31, 2017 (FY 2017).
