Reliance Jio has pipped prominent players to gain the third spot as the largest player in the telecom industry in just a matter of 16 months as per a Reuters news.

As per the Bloomberg quint repot, the company is just 90 basis points away from acquiring the second spot.
The company's market share for the December quarter of FY 2018 hit a 19.7% level which is higher than the rival company Idea Cellular.
The 4G telecom player has also plans to introduce enterprise services such as unified communications, Multiprotocol Label Switching (a protocol for high-speed telecom traffic) networks, , cloud services, managed video-conferencing and other Internet Protocol-Virtual Private Networks services.
