BSE To Delist 36 Companies From 5 March

Come March 5, some 36 companies will get delisted by the BSE as the trading in them has remained suspended for over three years now. As per a circular by the stock exchange, the companies included in the list span sectors such as textiles, technology, pharma and chemicals and trading in them have been suspended for over three years now and such companies are currently under the liquidation process.

The clampdown on shell companies has been on a huge scale and as many as 2 lakh companies have already been deregistered by the government.

Some of the companies to face delisting include Mafatlal Dyes & Chemicals, Veronica Laboratories, Polar Pharma India, Shonkh Technologies International and Bellary Steels & Alloys. And these are among those in which trading has remained suspended for over three years now and are under liquidation.

The other set include companies in which trading has been suspended for over three years now and include Volplast, Ashoka Cotseeds, Vijaykumar Mills, Great Western Industries, Ashoka Cotseeds, Rupal Laminates, Enviro-Clean Systems and Gandhidham Spinning & Manufacturing Co. Ltd.
