Forbes magazine has released its annual "World's Billionaires List." According to the list, India has 121 billionaires, making it the third country with the largest number of billionaires in the world, after US and China.
The USA has 585 billionaires while China has 373.
Last year, India had 102 billionaires on the 2017 Forbes World's Richest Billionaires list.
This year it has added 19 more billionaires. In a list of 2,208 billionaires, the top ten were:

With his petrochemicals, oil and gas business, Mukesh Ambani is leading the list of Indian billionaires. Last year, he ranked 33 with $23.2 billion. His brother Anil Ambani also made it to the list at the 887th position with $2.7 billion in wealth.
Networth: $18.8 billion
The chairman of Wipro Limited, Azim Premji is the second richest Indian on the list. He is also the fifth greatest philanthropist in the world according to Wikipedia, having donated $8 billion to education and healthcare.
Networth: $18.5 billion
Lakshmi Mittal is the chairman of the world's largest steelmaking company ArcelorMittal. Mittal Steel was merged with France's Arcelor in 2006.
Networth: 14.8 billion
Shiv Nadar is the founder and chairman of HCL and the Shiv Nadar Foundation. He was awarded Padma Bhushan in the year 2008 for his contribution to the IT industry.
Networth: $12.8 billion
He is the founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals with Pradeep Ghosh as his partner. He was awarded Padma Shri in 2016.
Networth: $11.8 billion
Kumar Mangalam Birla is the chairman of one of India's largest conglomerate corporation Adithya Birla Group.
Richest Woman: Savitri Jindal
Networth: $8.8 billion
Savitri Jindal is the richest woman in India according to this list. She is the Chairperson Emiretus of Jindal Steel and Power Limited.
She became the chairperson after her husband O.P. Jindal died in 2005.
Youngest: Vijay Shekhar Sharma
Networth: $1.7 billion
Vijay Shekhar Sharma, the founder of mobile payments app Paytm now holds the title of the youngest billionaire in India at the age of 39.
Oldest: Samprada Singh
Networth: 1.2 billion
At 92, Samprada Singh is the oldest billionaire in India. He is the chairman and founder of Alkem Laboratories.
