The IT major Wipro announced the fourth quarter results for 2018. The company reported a 20.5% fall in consolidated net profit YoY basis for the Q4 2018 at Rs 1,800.80 crore as against Rs 2,267 crore during Q4 2017.

The profit has dropped by 6.7 percent.
The revenue from operations for the fourth quarter of 2018, stands at Rs 13,768.6 crore as against Rs 13,987.5 crore during the fourth quarter of 2017.
The total income of the company stands at Rs 14,304.6 crore for the Q4 2018 as against Rs 15,045.5 crore during Q4 2017.
The earnings per share (basic) of Wipro for Q4 2018, settled at Rs 4 as against Rs 4.68 in the previous December quarter (Q3 2018).
The earnings per share (diluted) of Wipro for Q4 2018, stood at Rs 4 as against Rs 4.66 in the previous December quarter (Q3 2018).
During the fourth quarter of 2018 (Q4 2018), the company signed a definitive agreement to divest Wipro's hosted data center services business to Ensono, a hybrid IT services provider for USD 405 million. With this, Wipro will unlock value by transitioning eight data centers, and over 900 employees of its hosted data center services business to Ensono.
The acquisition is expected to close in the quarter ending June 2018.
