Reliance Jio Plans To Hire 75000 Employees This Fiscal Year

The disruptor in the telecom industry has plans to add 75,000-80,000 employees to its workforce told the senior official of the company today. Chief Human Resources Officer Sanjay Jog on the sidelines of an event said, "about 1,57,000 people are on the rolls today....I will say another 75,000 to 80,000 people".

The official further highlighted about the company's tie-ups with as many as 6,000 colleges that include technical institutions. The hiring is also be given a boost through referral programmes and social media platforms.

He added of the total hiring, referral now account for some 60-70% of the total recruitments at the company and said that college and employees" referrals "are the two major contributors for our hiring plans.
