A study titled, "Randstad Employer Brand Research (REBR) 2018" conducted by leading HR service provider company Randstad, revealed that salary and employee benefits continue to be the top drivers among the workforce in India.
The top 5 influencing factors for the workforce in ascending order includes:
- Salary and employee benefits
- Work-life balance
- Job security
- Career progression
- Strong management
The survey released on Wednesday revealed that Microsoft India was the most attractive employer while Amazon India won the second slot.
Their website listed the top 10 employers for 2018 in India in an alphabetical order
- Amazon
- Hindustan Unilever
- IBM
- ITC Group
- Larsen and Turbo
- Mercedes-Benz
- Microsoft
- Samsung India
- Sony
- Tata Consultancy Services
The Randstad research also revealed that men preferred organizations with strong leadership while women were attracted to companies with robust training programmes.
The large majority also preferred to work for IT & IteS sectors, followed by automotive and retail industry. It also said that 45 percent of the employees considered job security as a top factor to stay with the current employer.
