Banks across India are likely to remain shut for four consecutive days. So, if you have some important work at bank ensure it is done by today.
Banks To Remain Shut For Four Consecutive Days
April 28 is the fourth Saturday due to which banks will not operate, following this is Sunday. On Monday banks will remain closed for Buddha Purnima. While the next day i.e May 1 is celebrated as Labour day and some of the banks all through the nation shall remain closed on that day too.
So, given the recent cash crisis, if you need any ready cash, do make it a point to not postpone your withdrawal as there can be an instance that bank ATMs may not be replenished during this time.
You can hence check with your bank if it will operate either on Monday or Tuesday as some of the banks have declined to be working on either of the days.
