Soon after Reliance Jio released packs that will give users 1.5 GB additional data, state-run BSNL also announced new prepaid packs with extra data features for the football world cup 2018 season.

FIFA fans can now stream live matches online with BSNL's FIFA World Cup Special Data STV 149 priced at Rs 149.

At the price of Rs 149, the prepaid pack will be available during the whole World Cup period between June 14 and July 15. It gives users 4 GB data per day for 28 days.

Competitor Jio offers 3 GB of data per day data at the same cost, while Airtel offers 2GB. However, BSNL users will not get any voice calling or SMS benefits.

One can avail the FIFA offer through BSNL's official website or from major retail outlets across the country. The pack is available for all BSNL pan-India users except Delhi and Mumbai circles.

Recently, BSNL had upgraded its FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) service with Fibro Combo ULD 777 and Fibro Combo ULD 1277 plans. They provide FUP of 500GB at a speed of up to 50Mbps and 750GB data at a speed of up to 100Mbps respectively for 30 days.
