As a part of India's Independence Day celebrations, Air India is offering attractive discounts on flights across its various routes. The offers end on 15 August and can be availed on Air India's official website.

One can travel within India or overseas to avail the offer and use discount code "18INDAY" while making the booking online. This offer cannot be availed on Air India Express, alliance air flights, and codeshare flights according to the website. The airline released the offer throw its official Twitter handle.

Indian carriers have been offering discounts on airfares lately to push sales in the offseason of monsoon. Last week, GoAir offered a sale with airfares as low as Rs 1,099. Similarly, rivals Jet Airways and IndiGo also announced a sale. The Jet Airways offer is still open for grabs.
