As per a leading business daily report, ace investor Buffett's Berkshire is mulling to invest in One97 Communications, parent company operating payment solutions major Paytm.

The report cites two person familiar with the development who said the deal is likely to close in next few weeks and will value the payments entity at around Rs. 2,000- Rs. 2500 crore.

In accordance with the report, the transaction details of the deal had been discussed in the board meet of Paytm led by Vijay Shekhar Sharma.

Among the other integral shareholders of Paytm are Alibaba Group Holdings of China and Soft Bank of China. Further, there has been no comment on the development by either of the companies' i.e. neither Berkshire Hathaway nor Paytm.
