Rupee in today's trade has opened flat against Friday's close of 70.32 at 70.30 per dollar. And at 9:02 am, the domestic currency traded at 73.39, down by 7 paise.

The Sensex and Nifty opened with gains. Financial stocks are seen to gain ground in the pre-opening session. As per experts, the financial company's and NBFCs, there is a huge difference in assets and liabilities.
After HDFC Bank Q2 earnings, the stock has jumped up to 4% in the pre-opening session and thus a good gap-up opening in Bank Nifty.
In the last week, the forex reserves due to continuous plunge in rupee, has fallen by a steep volume to a record seven-year low.
