Ahead of the festivities, in a major relief to train travellers, the behemoth Indian Railways has completely done away with flexi-fare scheme in as many as 15 premium train and for some 32 trains, the scheme shall not be application during lean season.

Further as per railway minister Piyush Goyal remarks, the railways has also lessened flexi scheme rates from 1.5 to 1.4 times the base ticket fare in some 101 trains.

Below is provided the complete list of trains in which occupancy rate has been to the tune of 50-75% during 2017-2018, and on them flexi fare shall no longer apply during lean season in 2018-19.
