Air India To Soon Launch Late Night Flights Starting At Rs 1,000

Air India will be launching late-night flights at cheaper rates to major destinations like Delhi, Goa and Bengaluru. The fares for these flights will start at Rs 1,000. They are popularly known as red-eye flights as they leave late at night and arrive at the destination before dawn.

Flights between Delhi and Goa will start at Rs 3,000. The flight will leave Delhi at 10:30 pm and arrive in Goa at 12:35 am. It will then leave Goa at 1:15 am and arrive in Delhi at 3:40 am.

The cheapest tickets would begin from Rs 1,000 for travel between Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. Fares for Delhi-Coimbatore flights start at Rs 2,500.

The state-run carrier will begin its late night flights from 30 November. These flights will help travellers save on air travel and avoid peak traffic hours in these cities.

Its competitors have also come forward with offers on ticket fares ahead of the winter holidays. GoAir has put 13 lakh seats on sale. This sale ends on 18 November. Air Asia, in a promotional offer, is giving away tickets starting at Rs 399 on domestic travel and Rs 1,999 on international travel.
