Commanding a market cap of $122.87 billion, oil refinery to telecom conglomerate Reliance Industries has added another feather in its cap by entering the prestigious ' World Top 75 club'.

As per the Bloomberg data, the median market cap of the top 75 companies in the world was $161 billion.

In last 12 months, the company has generated a stupendous return of 45% i.e. third best of the leading 100 companies globally, only after Eli Lilly and Merck.

Also, the stock in the last 3 years provided five times the average return in comparison to global renowned energy stocks such as Chevron, BP, Total and Exxon Mobil. The company also had made the capital expenditure to the tune of $75 billion, the highest among its Indian peers.

And given the strong rally in the company stock, RIL's promoter had made a new feat by being the only billionaire from the energy sector in the top 20 of the Bloomberg Billionaires list.
