Rupee Opens Higher For Seventh Straight Session

Rupee has gained for the longest time given the positives since November 2018. In Tuesday's session also, rupee opened at 68.59 and made a low and high of 68.59 and 68.51, respectively.

The 10-year bond traded at 7.339% against its previous closing of 7.317%. Bond prices and bond yields move in opposite direction.

On Wednesday, the central bank of the US is slated to come up with its monetary policy decision.

Oil is also trading at this year's high given the commitment of OPEC and partners to continue with production cuts.

The dollar index was trading lower 0.1% at 96.429 in comparison to its earlier closing of 96.524.
