Tata Motors To Hike Passenger Vehicles Prices By Up To Rs 25,000 From April
On Saturday, Tata Motors said that it will increase prices of its passenger vehicles range by up to Rs 25,000 starting April due to a rise in input costs and external economic conditions.
The statement comes after Toyota and Jaguar Land Rover also announced a hike in the prices in some of their select models.
"The changing market conditions, rising input costs and various external economic factors have compelled us to consider this price increase," said Mayank Pareek, Tata Motors President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit in a statement.
"We are confident of maintaining our growth trajectory in the coming months on the back of our robust portfolio consisting of segment-leading products like TIAGO, HEXA, TIGOR, NEXON and the HARRIER," he further said.
