Rupee Opens Lower At 69.09

This has come on the back of weak consumption pattern across the country that is dragging the growth of the economy lower.

Also, the trade sentiment has improved which thus has provided an impetus to the foreign exchange reserves of the country and hence provided a cover to imports.

On the back of performance of Asian peers that were dragged lower, benchmark indices are likely to open in the red.
