The domestic curency resumed trade today and was trading with loss of 0.30% at 69.36. Rupee opened lower by 12 paise at 69.27 per dollar versus Friday's close 69.15.

Currency and bond markets were closed on Monday for annual closing of the banks.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said on Monday it would conduct another round of dollar-rupee buy-sell swap of $5 billion for a tenure of three years on April 23, its second such auction within a month.
In Monday's trade Sensex and Nifty Bank hit a a new record high on strong FII flow and hopes of political stability.
