Rupee in Wednesday's trade opens marginally higher at 68.72 vs Tuesday's close of 68.75 per US dollar. At 9:06 am, it was trading at 68.56, down by 0.27% or 0.185. The bond yield also was trading higher by 0.008 at 7.2810%.

Asian shares have been trading at their 7-month highs on improvement in global economic sentiment. Also Nifty today is likely to open flat. In yesterday's session, markets closed at an all-time high.

Also crude oil has been trading higher by 0.16% at 4328.007 per barrel.
