Since the rollout of the unified tax regime in July 2017, monthly gross GST collection for the April month has stood the highest at Rs 1,13,865 crore.

And of the overall GST mop up during the month, CGST or central GST accounted for Rs 21,163 crore contribution, SGST or state GST contributed Rs 28,801 crore, IGST or integrated GST accounts for Rs 54,733 crore that includes Rs 23,289 crore collected on imports and cess of Rs. 9168 crores that are inclusive of Rs 1,053 crore collected in respect of imports.

Also, the total number of GSTR 3B returns filed for the March month up to April 30, 2019 stand at 72.13 lakh.
