NSE To Trade In Gold ETFs and SGBs For Extended Hours On Akshaya Tritiya
NSE, the leading Indian bourse, will trade for extended hours on May 7 on account of Akshaya Tritiya in the capital market segment. In a circular, the National stock exchange said that the extended trading hours will be for trade in gold ETFs and sovereign gold bonds or SGBs only.
It further added that market timings will remain as usual, however the closing session will not be there for SGBs and gold ETFs.
The extended live trading session will begin at 4:30 pm and end at 7:00 pm. There will be no closing session after the extended market is closed, the exchange said.
Outstanding orders in SGBs and gold ETFs will be carried forward to extended live trading session and members can cancel the same during the pre-open period for extended session i.e. between 4:25 to 4:30 pm.
