Air India To Add Flights To Domestic And International Routes In June

On Wednesday, Air India announced that it will introduce new flights starting next month, on many of its domestic as well as international routes, to meet heavy demand.

The national carrier said that it will adding 3,500 seats per week to its Mumbai-Dubai-Mumbai route from 1 June. It will also offer additional 3,500 seats per week on its Delhi-Dubai-Delhi route from 2 June with its two new flights of B787 Dreamliner aircraft.

In a statement, Air India announced a promotional offer for both the routes. "The airline will offer one way Economy class promotional fare of ₹7,777 (all inclusive) from both Delhi and Mumbai to Dubai for sale and travel up to 31 July, 2019," it said.

Among the domestic routes, the airline will be adding flights to the Bhopal-Pune-Bhopal route and Varanasi-Chennai-Varanasi route from 5 June.

The number of flights on Delhi-Bhopal-Delhi route will be increased from present 14 flights per week to 20 flights per week.

Flights on Delhi-Raipur-Delhi route will be doubled from the existing seven flights per week to 14 flights per week.

Number of flights per week would be increased on routes such as Delhi-Bengaluru-Delhi, Delhi-Amritsar-Delhi, Chennai-Ahmedabad-Chennai, Chennai-Kolkata-Chennai, Delhi-Vadodara-Delhi and Mumbai-Vizag-Mumbai.
