On Tuesday, the Reserve Bank of India has announced that the timings for RTGS transaction shall be extended from currently uptil 4:30 pm to 6 pm. The mode that services high-value transactions with a minimum of Rs. 2 lakh and no cap on the maximum ceiling facilitates fund transfer on a real time basis.
Also, for RTGS transactions conducted between 8 am to 11 am, there shall be no charges, while for any RTGS fund transfer carried after this time, a charge shall be levied.
