IndiGo on Tuesday announced a four-day summer sale with 10 lakh seats up for grabs. The booking period for the sale has already begun (on 11 June) and will end on 14 June. Flight tickets are being offered at the starting price of Rs 999 for domestic routes and Rs 3,499 on overseas routes.

The travel period for the flight tickets on sale is between 26 June to 28 September, for domestic as well as international routes, the airline said in its statement.

The low-cost airline further said that these discounts were subject to availability and was only valid on booking made during the offer period and made at least 15 days prior to the date of departure.

The discount is not applicable on airport charges and government taxes. The offer is only valid on direct (non-stop) flights in its domestic as well as international routes.

Additional cashback offers are also available on these bookings. According to IndiGo's website, a 20 percent cashback up to Rs 2,000 can be availed on payment through IndusInd Bank debit/credit card (minimum transaction amount: Rs 4,000), 5 percent cashback up to Rs 1,000 if you pay using ICICI Bank debit/credit card (minimum transaction amount: Rs 6,000) and 15 percent 'SuperCash' up to Rs 800 on using Mobikwik wallet.

The budget airline also announced daily non-stop flights between Kolkata and Hong Kong from 20 August 2020, expanding its network.
