With an objective to protect market participants from volatility, the National Stock Exchange has decided to exclude as many as 34 securities from futures & options (F&O) trading from June 28.
Among the stocks to be excluded from the list include names such as Suzlon, Reliance Power, PC Jeweller, CG Power and Jet Airways.

Other stocks in the list are Ajanta Pharma, Allahabad Bank, BEML, Can Fin Homes, Ceat, Chennai Petroleum, DCB Bank, Godfrey Phillips, Godrej Industries, GSFC, IDFC, IFCI, India Cements, Indian Bank, Infibeam Avenues, IRB Infra, Jain Irrigation, Kaveri Seed, Karnataka Bank, MRPL, NHPC, OBC, Reliance Power, South Indian Bank, Syndicate Bank, Tata Communications.
The decision, which was taken earlier in April, will be implemented only from tomorrow, June 28.
Some of these stocks have witnessed heightened volatility in the past, including names like Jet Airways, PC Jewellers and Reliance Power.
