Rupee Trades Higher At 68.54 Per US Dollar

The domestic currency rupee opened marginally higher at 68.54 against the greenback versus Friday's close of 68.68.

In early trade, the home currency gained as much as 0.25% to 68.51 per US dollar.
The yield on 10-year benchmark bonds stood at 6.458%.

Meanwhile, in the opening session Sensex also gained some 200 points, while Nifty reclaimed 11,600 levels. In trade today, Infosys was the leading gainer surging as much as 6% after strong Q1 results.
