The domestic currency in Wednesday's trade opened lower and depreciated to an intra-day low of 69.09 per US dollar.

Oil prices have climbed higher as US inventories are known to have been declined and because of the rising Middle East tensions.
Meanwhile, equities market rose 52 points or 0.14 percent to 38,035 during the pre-market trade and the NSE Nifty 50 fell 0.17 percent to 11,312.20.
