Rupee in Thursday's trade opened lower at 70.79 after closing at 70.88 in the previous trade.
On Wednesday, RBI reduced key repo rate by 35 basis points and also it has been ushered that liquidity levels shall be maintained at comfortable level.

Oil has also rebounded in trade after Saudi attempts to stem the decrease in its price from seven-month low.
Meanwhile, in the pre-opening session, the indices opened with a positive bias.
